<--- Self Portrait ( Edward Hopper ) Edward Hopper was a American realist painter and printmaker in the 20th century. He was born on 22 July 1882 in the small Hudson River town of Nyack , New York State. He was die on 15 May 1967 in the studio near Washington Square in NYC , he entered at New York School for Illustators. He studied during six years at the New York School of Art when he was eight years old . Between 1906 and 1910 he was been in Paris , He visited a lot of european countries. In 1908, He began painting aspects of the native scene that few others attempted. In 1915, Hopper turn to etching. Between 1919 and 1923 he worked as a commercial illustrator before dedicating his time fully to painting. In 1920 , He painted his first in oil , then in watercolor. She appears lifeless , she looks all the time at the old pub , This pub reminds her of happy memories ... she remember a man that she loves ... Today, she feels loneley...
